GOOD GREEK FEATURING THE MIAMI MARLINS AND TAMPA BAY RAYS
Two days, two ballclubs, 200 miles apart and two very unique concepts. That’s what the Bally Sports Florida team faced shooting two :30 second commercials for a local moving company. With the help of our professional baseball teams, I was able to utilize the mascots to create fun, on-brand spots that the company was thrilled with. These spots were the cornerstone of a $200,000 media buy from the client that is certain to ensure future business with the company for years to come.
Miami Marlins | Good Greek
After collaborating with CEO Spero Georgedakis, I developed a script that centers on a Marlins fan overwhelmed by the chaos of moving. In a humorous twist, the fan falls asleep while packing, only to discover in his dream that calling Good Greek Moving & Storage is the solution to all of his moving woes. The commercial also features Billy the Marlin, the beloved team mascot, as well as a cameo by Mr. Georgedakis himself. The spot was filmed at loanDepot Park, utilizing two distinct sets to bring the story to life.
The opening scene takes place in a cluttered Miami living room, filled with moving boxes, capturing the fan’s frustration. As he falls asleep, he is magically transported to the ballpark, where he encounters Billy the Marlin. Confused and unsure of how to help, Billy picks up the dugout phone and calls Spero Georgedakis, who then appears to explain how Good Greek can solve all of his moving challenges.
The fan awakens to the sound of a crack of the bat—a home run!—symbolizing the resolution of his moving troubles. The commercial was a hit, resonating with audiences, and continues to air throughout South Florida during MLB season.

Tampa Bay Rays | Good Greek
For the Rays Relocation Solution commercial, we brought together mascots Raymond and DJ Kitty from the Tampa Bay Rays to help showcase the range of services offered by Good Greek Moving & Storage. As Spero Georgedakis explains the company’s services, Raymond and DJ Kitty bring the message to life in a fun and comedic way, acting out various moving scenarios with a variety of props that highlight the ease and versatility of Good Greek’s offerings. Some of these key props included a miniature house, a car, various pieces of furniture, and moving boxes, which were used to create humorous situations.
Each prop was carefully chosen to illustrate a different aspect of the moving process and services offered, with the mascots’ playful antics adding to the commercial’s lighthearted tone.
The commercial culminates with a shot of the Rays-branded Good Greek moving truck, which we filmed outside Tropicana Field—tying the Rays’ identity directly to the brand and location. The spot was a great success, resonating with local fans, and continues to air across the Tampa area during baseball season.
