Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of producing and editing several magazine-style shows that shine a light on the personal journeys of athletes and extraordinary people offering a deeper, more intimate look behind the scenes. From Under the Helmet with the Miami Dolphins to Inside the Marlins, Marlins Clubhouse, and Inside the Heat, each show was crafted to captivate audiences through compelling storytelling and exclusive access. As both producer and editor, I was responsible for shaping each segment, from concept to final cut, ensuring the athletes’ stories were told with authenticity and depth. In this episode of Under The Helmet, we take an inside look at the life of Caleb Sturgis, the Miami Dolphins kicker. We explore Caleb’s journey to the NFL, from growing up in St. Augustine to being drafted by the Dolphins after becoming a high school state football champion. Caleb also reflects on his personal journey, including marrying his college sweetheart and the pivotal moments that shaped his career and life as a Miami Dolphin.

MIAMI HEAT INSIDE THE HEAT LeBRON JAMES
In this heartfelt segment of Inside The Heat, we spotlight LeBron James’ unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the communities that have shaped his life. LeBron reflects on the creation of his Kings for Kids Bike-A-Thon in Akron, his hometown, that supports local children and families. He also shares his passion for working with young athletes at the LeBron James Skills Academy, where he mentors the next generation of basketball players, helping them develop both on and off the court.
The segment also highlights LeBron’s ongoing efforts to give back to the Miami community, focusing on his role in supplying food to families in need. Through this intimate look at his philanthropic work, we see that LeBron’s influence extends far beyond the basketball court, as he continues to use his platform to create lasting change and inspire others to do the same.
